The Testa Law Group represents UFC fighter Carlos Diego Ferreira who was removed from UFC Fight Night 88 due to the ingestion of a tainted nutritional supplement and, as a result, violated USADA anti-doping violations. Not only was Mr. Ferreira removed from Fight Night 88 but was also banned from fighting by both the Las Vegas Nevada Gaming Commission and the UFC, costing him his title rank in the UFC and endorsement contracts.

Mr. Ferreira tested positive for a Selective Androgen Receptor Module (SARM) known as Ostarine. Selective Androgen Receptor Modules such as Ostarine is a prohibited substance in the UFC and other professional sports organizations. The positive test results were the result of a tainted supplement. The tainted nutritional supplement was traced back to an over the counter nutritional supplement sold at many nutritional retail outlet stores.

Redundant tests by not only the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) but also the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and also private laboratories identified that the popular nutritional supplement contained an unapproved, trademarked, and patented Selective Androgen Receptor Module.

Mr. Ferreira who is a world-renowned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion and has not lost an MMA fight since 2011, was axed from the fight night at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas as a result of the tainted nutritional supplement company choosing profits over the welfare of the people.

The Testa Law Group intends to fight vigorously on behalf of Mr. Ferreira and the Rio Grande Valley community to send a clear message that such actions by supplement manufacturers and the supplement industry will not be tolerated and will go punished.
